GEAR UP FOR WORK & ADVENTURE

QUALITY GEAR. BUILT TO PERFORM.

Thorogood

Thorogood, a brand created in 1918 by Weinbrenner Shoe Company, itself established in 1892, is one of the oldest and most respected footwear brands in the US. Primarily, they make “job-fitted” footwear that caters to hard-working people. Whether you’re a lineman, firefighter, carpenter, public safety professional, or anyone else who works for a living, Thorogood has the right boots and shoes for you—both on the job and off. Their 814-4201s, an 8-inch, wedge sole, soft-toe boot, is generally regarded as the construction industry’s signature boot; it remains their best-selling boot of all time. Their 814-4200, the 6-inch version, has become iconic--as much a statement of style as it is a work boot. Thorogood creates casual, outdoor, and occupational footwear according to the most exacting standards and with the finest materials. Made by Wisconsin union craftsmen, Thorogood’s “Made in the USA” work boots remain a classic more than 125 years later. We at Outdoor Equipped aren’t just purveyors of Thorogood--many of us wear their boots: the craftsmanship is simply unrivaled.
