Evenflo Sizing Guide
When shopping for Evenflo child travel safety products such as strollers and car seats or child play safety products such as play yards and jumpers, you'll want to make sure you get one appropriate to your child's age and size. That information can be surprisingly difficult to come by, which is why we've assembled this short Evenflo baby products sizing guide. Fortunately, most Evenflo products can be adjusted to accommodate children of a wide range of ages and sizes, but there are some differences that you'll want to be aware of. Check out our sizing guides for strollers, car seats, play yards, and jumpers, and then head over to our Evenflo collection to find the perfect product for your child.
Evenflo's strollers are designed for maximum versatility, so fortunately you won't need to worry too much about your child's size!
For children up to 55 pounds (newborn to about 6 years old), the Evenflo Pivot Xpand Modular Travel System doubles as an infant car seat and can even be expanded to accommodate two riders with the purchase of a second seat. The stroller itself is somewhat bulky at 28.6 pounds, and the addition of a second seat increases that weight to over 36 pounds, so the real weight limit here is how much weight you can push around.
If weight is a concern, Evenflo's Aero2 Ultra-Lightweight Double Stroller offers an attractive alternative, weighing just 23 pounds. It accommodates two children, each up to 50 pounds (newborn to about 6 years old). When the second seat is not in use, it can be repurposed as storage or a grocery cart.
Like their strollers, Evenflo's car seats are designed to be versatile. However, age and weight ranges certainly differ by model, so it's important to know what you're buying and what child you're shopping for. As a general rule, rear-facing car seats are appropriate for children up to 2 years old, forward-facing car seats for children 2-4 years old, and booster seats for children 2-10 years old. However, many Evenflo products combine several of these functions in one.
For the most versatile Evenflo car seat available, look to the Everyfit 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat, with two car seat modes and three booster modes, accommodating children from 4-120 pounds and from newborn to 10 years old. For infants under age 2 from 4-40 pounds and 17-40" tall, use the rear-facing car seat mode. A forward-facing car seat mode accommodates children from 2-4 years old, 22-65 pounds, and 28-49" tall. The three booster modes—harnessed booster, seat-belt booster, and no-back booster—accommodate children over 4 years old, 40-120 pounds, and 44-57" tall.
The Symphony Elite All-in-One offers another versatile option, with three modes accommodating children 5-100 pounds.
Other Evenflo car seat products are designed for more specific purposes, however.
For younger children, the Tribute LX Convertible Car Seat offers just two modes—rear-facing and forward-facing—and accommodates children 5-40 pounds and 19-40" tall.
By contrast, booster seats such as the Maestro Sport Harness Booster and the Chase Harnessed Booster are only appropriate for children at least 2 years old and over 22 pounds. These booster seats will accommodate your child for years, up to a weight of 110 pounds.
For the youngest children, Evenflo's Portable Babysuite Playard is a good choice. Rated for children from newborn to 24 months and up to 35 inches tall and 30 pounds, it's also small and lightweight enough to carry around. Buy the deluxe version for a few extras like a floor playmat and diaper changing station.
For a larger play space, the Play-Away Portable Playard Lite offers 15 square feet, and the Evenflo Versatile Play Space offers 18.5 square feet of space. These products, however, are not appropriate for newborns; they accommodate children 6-24 months old and up to 35 inches tall.
Like their strollers and baby seats Evenflo's Exersaucer jumpers offer multiple modes for children of different ages. For a particularly versatile jumper, try the Exersaucer Triple Fun Stationary Jumper, with 3 stages to engage children from newborn to 24 months, up 26 pounds and 30” tall. Another option is the Exersaucer Tiny Tropics 2-in-1 Baby Seat and Door Jumper. Its baby seat mode seems to work best for children under 6 months, while its door jumper mode accommodates children up to 24 months, 26 pounds, and 30" tall.
